Hextar Global Berhad is an investment company and through its subsidiaries, the company is engaged in three core business segments namely agriculture, consumer products and specialty chemicals. In terms of agriculture segment, the company is involved in manufacturing, distribution and agents of agrochemicals and R&D activities. Its products offer a wide range of pesticides that include herbicides, insecticides and miticides. The consumer products segment is engaged in manufacturing and distribution of disposable healthcare products such as wet wipes, tissue and cotton-based products. Meanwhile, the specialty chemicals segment is involved in manufacturing and distribution of institutional and industrial chemicals and others specialty chemicals. Hextar was incorporated in 1990 and is based in Klang, Malaysia.
