The company is involved in the design and construction of airports, power plants, highways, bridges, housing schemes and industrial complexes, steel structures, high voltage transmission lines and sub-stations, interchanges, and commercial and industrial buildings. It is also involved in the design, engineering, and contract of composite floor decking systems; contract and supply of building materials; buildings management and maintenance; operation of motor vehicles parking facilities; management of residential properties; and contract of building envelope systems. In addition, the company manufactures metal roof and wall cladding systems, and also manages and operates a fitness centre. Further, it operates as a piling, civil engineering, and building turnkey contractor. The company was formerly known as Tronoh Consolidated Malaysia Berhad and changed its name to Zelan Berhad in December 2006. The company is headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
